This new tool / scale, temporarily replaces the scale in your existing combination square, for laying out the holes on steel beam flanges and base plates etc., rather than using 2 to 4 other tools and having to keep readjusting your combination square for each different measurement. It’s more than twice as fast and accurate than using several tools to layout the holes. The scale has slots every ¼ inches and goes from 2 inch, up to 8 inch gauges, with a centerline to line up with the web centerline and plate centerlines. It’s great for layout / fitters and quality control personnel. The stainless steel scale is as thick as a typical combination square scale and made to fit into a combination square with its groove. |

Shipping and handling varies according to U.P.S. on all orders. If you’re using an aluminum combination square, it’s probably not square anymore from dragging it along rough structural steel beams.
